On the evening of June 30, a missile attack in Kyiv's Obolonskyi district caused debris to fall on a residential building, igniting fires on the eighth and ninth floors. Initially, no injuries were reported, but later updates confirmed five women were treated for acute stress reactions, with one elderly woman hospitalized. Ten residents were evacuated as emergency services worked to contain the blaze and assess the damage, which included partially destroyed balconies on two floors. This incident occurred amidst an air raid warning in Kyiv and northern Ukraine.

On Sunday, a glide bomb struck a Nova Poshta terminal in Kharkiv, resulting in the death of one man and injuries to ten others, including an eight-month-old baby. The attack, launched by Russian forces from Nizhny Olshanets in Russia’s Belgorod Oblast, caused a fire that destroyed a post office, seven trucks, and eight cars, while damaging dozens more. Among the injured were employees of Nova Poshta, civilians, and truck drivers. The fire has since been contained. Emergency services are continuing to search for nine additional people who may have been at the site during the strike.

 

Russian strike on Vilniansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast - number of casualties rises to 38

As of the morning of Sunday, June 30, a Russian missile strike on Vilniansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, resulted in 45 casualties, including seven fatalities—three men, one woman, and three children. Among the 38 injured, nine are children. The attack damaged two high-rise buildings, twelve commercial premises, and destroyed seven cars. Zaporizhzhia Oblast declared a day of mourning on June 30 to honor the victims.
