Russians destroy another sorting hub of Nova Poshta shipping company

Russian forces destroyed a sorting hub operated by Nova Poshta in Chernihiv Oblast during an attack at around 4:20 p.m. on 5 July.
No casualties were reported. The company said emergency crews are dealing with the aftermath of the strike.
Nova Poshta has activated contingency logistics plans to keep deliveries running on schedule and said customers can check the latest status of their shipments through its mobile app and website.
Kremlin proposes temporary Kostiantynivka ceasefire and handover of bodies to Ukraine
Russia has proposed a temporary ceasefire in Kostiantynivka on 6 July to facilitate the transfer of the bodies of fallen Ukrainian soldiers. According to Russia's Defense Ministry, hostilities would be suspended from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Moscow time, and Ukraine was asked to respond by noon on 5 July.
The proposal came after President Volodymyr Zelenskyy suggested meeting Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Kostiantynivka. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov dismissed the idea, saying Zelensky should instead travel to Moscow for talks with Putin.
The exchange followed contradictory Russian statements about the city. Russian military officials initially claimed Kostiantynivka had been fully captured, but hours later, Russia's Defense Ministry acknowledged that fighting there was still ongoing. Zelensky dismissed the capture claims as "another Russian lie," while Ukraine's General Staff said the city remains under Ukrainian control despite heavy fighting and Russian attempts to push deeper into the urban area.
Kostiantynivka remains one of Ukraine's key defensive strongholds in Donetsk Oblast alongside Sloviansk and Kramatorsk, making it a major objective in Russia's offensive in eastern Ukraine.

The attack destroyed part of an apartment building, collapsing a wall from the ground floor to the fourth floor. Nearby windows were shattered, and parked vehicles were damaged by the blasts.
According to the regional governor, the strikes also damaged the city's critical infrastructure.
Russia's FSB launched a disinformation campaign using fake Volyn tragedy documents
Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation says Russia's Federal Security Service has entered the active phase of an information operation aimed at damaging relations between Ukraine and Poland by spreading allegedly declassified archival documents about the Volyn tragedy.
According to the Center's head, Andrii Kovalenko, the operation seeks to reignite historical tensions by circulating forged World War II-era documents through Russian state media. He claimed FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov is personally overseeing the campaign.
On the night of 4–5 July, Russian state media outlet RT published an article citing purportedly declassified FSB files accusing Dmytro Kliachkivskyi of involvement in the killing of Catholic priests and Polish civilians during the Volyn tragedy in 1943.
Ukrainian officials argue the campaign is designed to exploit one of the most sensitive historical issues between the two countries and inflame public opinion in Poland. They say the objective is to weaken the strategic partnership between Kyiv and Warsaw by manipulating historical events and fueling divisions.
