The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs  that   relations  with Ukraine are not the best

In Poland, they say that relations with Ukraine "recently are not the best." The statements of representatives of the Ukrainian authorities give the reason.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Pawel Jablonski said this on RMF FM, "EP" writes. According to him, there are many issues on which "there is no agreement" between Poland and Ukraine.

The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs representative also spoke about the upcoming meeting with the representative of the Ukrainian Embassy. He called the forthcoming conversation "very frank, very specific, as always."

"We will convey our assessments of the state of our relations today, which, unfortunately, in connection with the statements of some representatives of the Ukrainian authorities recently, is not the best. No one hides this," Yablonsky said.

According to him, the Ukrainian representatives of Ukraine "swept out certain emotions." Poland remains "lenient" because Ukraine was attacked, "but it should not attack its allies either."

"The policy of Polish national interests guides us. We support Ukraine to the extent that it corresponds to Polish national interests. This has been and will always be," added the Deputy Head of the Polish Foreign Ministry.

Statement about "alleged ingratitude of Ukrainians"

A representative of the office of the Polish president, Marcin Pshidach, said that Ukraine "should start appreciating" Warsaw's help. The politician's statement was made in the context of blocking the export of Ukrainian grain through Poland.

On August 1, the Ambassador of Poland to Ukraine, Bartos Cihotski, was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kyiv due to the statements of Marcin Przydacz. In his turn, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that the summons of the Polish ambassador "is unacceptable."

Meanwhile, the Office of the President rejected the statement from Warsaw that Ukraine does not value support enough. Andrii Sybiga, the deputy head of the OP, emphasizes that this is "a game for one's opportunistic interests, which has nothing to do with reality."

In addition, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi reacted to the diplomatic scandal with Poland. The head of state said that politics sometimes tries to be above the unity of people in their desire to defend their freedom.
