Polish Prime Minister condemned the attack on Ukrainian children in Poland

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has condemned an attack on two Ukrainian children in the Polish city of Bydgoszcz and urged the suspects to turn themselves in to the police, as reported by the Polish news portal Onet.

The incident took place on August 14, when a 14-year-old girl and her 12-year-old brother were allegedly confronted and assaulted by two adults at a playground after speaking Ukrainian. The children were reportedly threatened, verbally abused and had their arms twisted, while their toys were damaged.

Tusk called the attack “an anti-Polish act” and said such behavior was unacceptable and harmful to Poland. Police have detained a 46-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man who may have been involved in the incident, with investigators continuing to establish their role.

Russian agent who registered 27 Starlink terminals for Russian forces arrested

A 33-year-old man has been arrested in Kharkiv Oblast on suspicion of treason after allegedly registering 27 Starlink satellite terminals for Russian forces, Ukrainian authorities said.

According to investigators, the man was an unemployed internally displaced person from occupied Khrustalnyi in Luhansk Oblast who moved to frontline Izium and began looking for work online. He was allegedly contacted by a Russian operative via Telegram and offered money to register Starlink terminals. For one activation, he received UAH 1,500 ($30) and sent the Russian handler photographic proof that the task had been completed.

Ukrainian authorities later established that one of the 27 terminals was transferred to Russian forces in occupied Zaporizhzhia Oblast, where it was reportedly used to provide communications and control attack drones. Prosecutors said the man has been formally notified of suspicion of treason committed under martial law, while investigators are working to determine whether the other terminals were also used by Russian forces.
